La Gran Tortuga Restaurant It opened its doors in 1974 and owes its name to an anecdote of the architect who designed the Cala Fornells complex, Pedro Otzoup. The fishermen of the port of Paguera passed daily in front of the workers who built the villages and used to give them fresh fish. One day, by surprise, a turtle was brought and Otzoup had the perfect inspiration to christen the restaurant: The Great Turtle.
